Citizens and Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) is sponsoring a pumpkin carving contest this October – the carver of the best disaster-related Jack-O-Lantern will receive a Zombie Preparedness Kit. The contest is open until – you guessed it, Halloween – and open to all volunteers, partners and board members. Check out the rules online.
